The Mill House Cafe and Restaurant in St Davids is just a few minutes walk from Ty Gwilym Holiday Cottages and is situated at 9, New Street, just 100 yards past TYF on the left. It serves coffees and lunches, but in 2024, they decided to make a great change and open a restaurant at weekends.... on Fridays and Saturdays. This has proved really popular and been a huge success. Now they're contemplating opening on more days in the week. So do make a visit to The Mill Cafe and enjoy the whole experience, especially in the evening!
The St Davids Cathedral Music Festival brings together world-class classical and choral performers in one of Wales's most breathtaking settings. With a varied programme showcasing the cathedral's legendary acoustics, it's an unmissable cultural highlight drawing audiences from across Wales and beyond.

'This is possibly the finest Holiday Cottage in the whole of Wales! It is furnished to a very high standard and is exceptionally clean and in a beautiful location, just minutes away from the magnificent St David's Cathedral, and a twenty minute walk to Porth Clais on the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path. We have been returning each year since about 2010. Looking forward to our annual visit later next year.' Peter, Cheltenham - April 2023

Read moreSt David, Dewi Sant, is the patron Saint of Wales and was born in c.500 AD. The legend says that his mother, St Non, gave birth to him on a clifftop near St Davids... marked by the ruins of St Non's Chapel, just a short walk from our cottages.
This is why St Davids has special celebrations on March 1st each year, with a Dragon Parade, involving local school children in costumes and, this year, a special concert in the Cathedral, led by the Band of the Prince of Wales on Saturday March 3rd.
